METUCHEN, NJ - United Women’s Soccer (UWS) and MyCujoo enter year two of their partnership. Each UWS club will have their own, dedicated channel for broadcasting matches. Live-streaming of matches allows fans unparalleled access to follow their favorite teams, creates a repository of film for teams, and provides additional exposure for players.

“MyCujoo is very excited to continue and build on the relationship with UWS,” said Pedro Presa, CEO and co-founder of MyCujoo. “This year is a crucial year for the women’s game and MyCujoo is its strongest supporter. We know the UWS is very focused on its player community and helping them get visibility — this makes MyCujoo the best partner for UWS, as we are ramping up our features dedicated for the players to be able to claim their digital profile, own and share their own content.”

MyCujoo is actively streaming content from more than 100 countries across six continents. More than 2,250 teams and clubs have been streamed on MyCujoo since the beginning of the platform. Their goal is to give all of the world of football a chance to be valued and appreciated, anywhere and by anyone.

With over 20,000 views in the UWS Semifinals & Final last year, the Houston Aces’ game-winning goal against the Lancaster Inferno was the second most watched on the platform that week.

The 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup kicks off this summer in France, showcasing top female athletes from around the world. Looking to tap into enthusiasm for the World Cup and women’s soccer, UWS and MyCujoo will strive to stream all UWS matches (regular season and playoffs) this season. Fans of women’s soccer need not wait until 2023 to catch the next match. When the final whistle blows in France, fans will be able to follow local teams and players, even if they cannot make it to the game thanks to new, native Android and iOS apps.

“We are excited to have MyCujoo as the Official Live Streaming partner of UWS,” said League Commissioner Joe Ferrara, Jr. “Our teams are able to provide professional live broadcasts of all UWS matches, engage their fanbase as well as monetize each webcast through digital sponsorship opportunities.”

From points East or West, Midwest or Southwest, and all points in between, UWS + MyCujoo is a winning pair.
