METUCHEN, NJ - A trio of United Women's Soccer (UWS) stars crossed paths when it came to this week's edition of the TopDrawerSoccer.com Team of the Week. Florida Gulf Coast University forward Evdokia Popadinova (Santa Clarita Blue Heat), Xavier University midfielder Samantha Dewey (Indiana Union) and Florida State University midfielder Jenna Nighswonger (LA Galaxy OC) were named to the TDS honor roll. Dewey continues to be recognized by the BIG EAST this fall with another appearance on the Weekly Honor Roll after netting another two goals in back-to-back wins.

University of Colorado midfielder Taylor Kornieck (LA Galaxy OC) helped the Buffaloes to a pair of victories to close out non-conference play this past week, topping in-state rivals Northern Colorado and Denver. The Pac-12 Conference selected Kornieck as the Offensive Player of the Week for her efforts. University of South Dakota midfielder Alexis Mitchell (Lansing United) helped the Coyotes win an impressive three road matches, with two of them coming thanks to her game-winning goals. The 2019 All-UWS selection notched the game-winning goal at Drake in the 88th minute and scored a golden goal on a header in the box off a corner kick in overtime at Wyoming.
