Further Expansion continues in Pennsylvania

Metuchen, NJ – Further expansion has come to UWS League Two (UWS2) in the Mid-Atlantic Conference. Williamsport City Lions (Williamsport, PA) joins the lineup and is set to kick off this upcoming season.

“The Williamsport City Lions are incredibly excited to join UWS League Two. It is a league with great tradition and quality, and we are eager for the opportunity for our club to compete at a high level, joining many other great teams,” said Director Kenneth Fern.

Founded in 2022, Williamsport City Lions is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that established a community-based women’s and men’s soccer team. The club prides itself in providing positive role models for youth and the surrounding community as well as a competitive playing opportunity for college players and aspiring/former professionals.
