United Women’s Soccer is excited to announce the launch of Olé FC Mutiny. This club will be an Olé Football Club Academy initiative that aims to empower women’s soccer in the area by guiding and supporting them to reach the highest level in the sport. In partnership with the esteemed New England Mutiny FC, who have won numerous league titles and have been committed to player development since 1999, we are embarking on a journey to redefine women’s soccer.
“It is a great pleasure to announce our partnership with the New England Mutiny. It is an amazing organization in women’s soccer that has been providing and producing talent for decades,” stated Ole FC President Rodrigo Nunes. We look forward to working together and making the clubs and communities even more successful. Players in our organization will have a pathway that is realistic and directly involved with high-level soccer,” added Nunes.
“We are thrilled to welcome Ole FC Mutiny to UWS2. The club is one of the largest in Connecticut with a rich tradition and experience in running pre-professional teams,” said League Commissioner Joe Ferrara. “I met with the staff and am thoroughly impressed by the success Olé has achieved along with the vision that they shared,” added Ferrara.
At Olé FC Mutiny, our primary goal is to “sharpen” athletes by providing the details and connections to help them excel in collegiate and professional soccer. We believe in providing a platform where aspiring athletes can thrive and pursue their dreams with support and guidance.
Olé FC Mutiny U23 Women’s Team will compete starting in the UWS2, the second division of the renowned United Women’s Soccer (UWS).
Tryout information will be released soon, as will the head coach, so stay tuned and don’t miss out on this fantastic opportunity to join and support Olé FC Mutiny.
