Thursday, June 6th - Midwest Action

  • Michigan Hawks 5, Troy City WFC 0: The Michigan Hawks continued their unbeaten streak, securing a dominant 5-0 victory over Troy City WFC at Schoolcraft College. Charlotte McMurtrie starred with a brace, while Elle Phillips contributed with two assists, showcasing their offensive prowess.

Friday, June 7th

  • Michigan Jaguars 7, Pass FC 0: The reigning champions hosted Pass FC in Wixom, MI, and delivered a statement with a commanding 7-0 win. This victory keeps them firmly at the top of the Midwest Conference standings.

Saturday, June 8th - Action-Packed Day with 12 Matches

East Conference Highlights:

  • Steel City FC 2, FC Buffalo 1: In Cheswick, PA, Steel City FC handed FC Buffalo their first loss of the season with a hard-fought 2-1 victory. Steel City’s playoff hopes remain alive as they look ahead to a crucial rivalry match against Erie on Saturday.
  • Hudson Valley Crusaders 7, Worcester Fuel FC 0: The Crusaders continued their dream start with a resounding 7-0 win. Amaya Hill scored a hat trick, and Casey and Megan Stowell each added a brace. Abigail Danso was the playmaker, recording three assists.
  • Flower City 1872 4, Erie Commodores 3: Flower City 1872 edged out Erie Commodores in a thrilling 4-3 encounter. Chloe DeLyser's two goals and Bridget Merkel’s goal and two assists were pivotal. Erie’s Brooklyn Respecki and Grace Emanuel each tallied a goal and an assist in a valiant effort.
  • CT Rush 6, NY Magic 3: In East Haven, CT Rush outlasted NY Magic in a goal fest, finishing 6-3. Hannah Curtin’s hat trick and Mary Lundregan’s brace were key to the Rush's victory. Natsuki Murakami scored twice for NY Magic in the defeat.
  • Sporting CT 6, Albany Rush 0: Sporting CT bounced back strongly with a 6-0 win over Albany Rush. Natalie Tavana and Imani Jenkins each scored twice, solidifying their team’s recovery and preparation for their next match against Maine Footy.
  • NE Mutiny 1, Maine Footy 0: A rematch of the season opener saw NE Mutiny triumph again, this time with a narrow 1-0 win. Avery Klingensmith’s goal from an Abbey Jones assist kept the Mutiny atop the table while Maine Footy looks to rebound.

Midwest Conference Highlights:

  • Rockford Raptors 2, Indiana United 0: Rockford Raptors secured a 2-0 victory against Indiana Union with goals from Brooke Parnello and Isabel Caesar.
  • Indiana Union 6, Edgewater Castle 3: Indiana Union rebounded later in the day with a 6-3 win over Edgewater Castle. Kris Boos notched a hat trick for Edgewater Castle despite the loss.

West Conference Highlights:

  • SC Blue Heat 6, Players SC 0: SC Blue Heat continued their impressive run with a 6-0 win over Players SC, setting the stage for a highly anticipated rematch with Foothills on June 15th.

Sunday, June 9th - Closing Out the Weekend

  • NJ Copa FC 2, Coppermine United 1: NJ Copa FC maintained their strong form with a 2-1 win over Coppermine United. This victory keeps Copa in the top four, with their sights set on the playoffs.
  • Los Angeles Soccer Club 4, Players SC 0: LASC dominated Players FC, winning 4-0 with goals from four different players. They remain contenders in the competitive West Conference.
  • Firebirds SC 2, Indiana United 0: Firebirds SC earned their first win of the season with a 2-0 victory over Indiana Union, bouncing back from their previous heavy defeat.
