SANTA CLARITA, CA - The defending United Women’s Soccer (UWS) champion Santa Clarita Blue Heat have added another Costa Rican international to their 2017 roster. Santa Clarita are pleased to announce the signing of midfielder Katherine Alvarado for the upcoming summer season in United Women’s Soccer, pending league approval.

“This shows we are all about quality in this league, only the best,” said Blue Heat Technical Director and Club Owner Carlos Marroquin, who could not be more excited to add more international experience to his team. “Someone of Katherine’s experience, passion and drive will be crucial in defending our title in an ever-growing league.
