IPSC will be the seventh team in the newly-formed Midwest Conference

INDIANAPOLIS, IN - United Women’s Soccer (UWS) is finishing its preparations for the Summer 2017 season and are proud to officially announce that Indy Premier Soccer Club will compete in the Midwest Conference this year. IPSC will join Detroit Sun F.C., F.C. Indiana, Fort Wayne United F.C., Grand Rapids F.C., Michigan Legends F.C. and Toledo Villa F.C. as the seventh team in the newly-formed conference.

“Indianapolis is well-known for having great events and we anticipate more of the same with UWS,” said UWS League Director Joe Ferrara, Jr. “After meeting with members of the Indy Premier staff at the NSCAA Convention in Los Angeles, the exuberance displayed was very contagious. The Hoosier state has always had great soccer talent with some top-notch schools in that region and now there is another pathway to the pros for them.”

Indy Premier Soccer Club will play their home games at Trinity Sports Park in Noblesville, IN. Indy Premier was formed in June 2014 with the merger of three soccer clubs on the northeast side of Indianapolis. Fishers Soccer Club, IPSC and the travel component of Noblesville United Soccer Club merged to form the largest Travel & Rec Plus Program in the state of Indiana.

“The UWS provides Indy Premier the opportunity to add top-tier competition for players and coaches,” said Indy Premier Director of College Recruitment and Girls Player Development Kenrick Ramirez. “The regionally-based regular season will make travel very viable and cost effective. After many conversations with League Director Joe Ferrara we realized this league is sustainable long-term and will only grow in strength.”

Indy Premier is a full-service soccer organization that offers a diverse menu of soccer programming year-round for youth of all ages and ability levels. They currently have the largest full-time coaching staff in Indiana, with 23 professionals who work in their Super Kicks, Rec Plus Academy and Travel programs and 25 part-time employees who supplement their work. IPSC is proud to be one of only two 'Nike Premier Clubs' in the state of Indiana.

“We are very excited to have a franchise like this for our membership and offer something of substance for soccer players from age 2 thru adulthood,” said Ramirez. “Given multiple coaches on staff with prior college coaching experience, we feel that Indy Premier can provide the best outlet for players outside of their collegiate seasons and as an avenue to challenge our top high school age players from May-June without significant cost or travel. We are excited to work with many sponsors to make this a great experience for all involved.”
