Khosroshahin brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Blue Heat, not to include an impressive resume.

"Ali is a excellent addition to the Blue Heat," said Blue Heat Owner and Technical Director Carlos Marroquin. "He's a great friend, very passionate and we welcome him to the team. He has done a lot for the women's game in Southern California."

"I would like to thank Mr. Marroquin for the opportunity to share my passion and knowledge with the Blue Heat," said Khosroshahin. I look forward to working closely with Carlos in the upcoming UWS season."

In 2007, Khosroshahin led USC to the first NCAA title for the PAC-10, and he was named the NSCAA National Coach of the Year as he earned a career-best win total (20-3-2) that year. Ali coached the USC Trojans for seven years (2007-13). In 2008, Khosroshahin was the assistant coach of the U-17 Mexican National Team, and later coached Mexico at the CONCACAF Qualifying Tournament for the 2008 FIFA U-17 World Cup.

Before USC, Khosroshahin spent six years (2001-2006) as the head coach at Cal State Fullerton. While coaching the Titans, he was honored as the Big West Coach of the Year three times and guided the team to three NCAA Tournament appearances. Ali was an assistant for Mexico during the 1999 World Cup and was on the staff of the Mexican U-19 WNT in 2004 and the U-20 team in 2005.
