Dallas-based organization to play out of Old Panther Stadium

DALLAS, TX - United Women's Soccer (UWS) is excited to announce the addition of the North Texas Image to the Southwest Conference. The Dallas-based organization has a long history of success at both the regional and national level. Team owner Joe Soliz will also serve as the team's head coach. Soliz, an A-licensed coach, will bring over 30 years of coaching experience to the sideline this season.

"The Dallas-Fort Worth area is without a doubt one of the biggest soccer hotbeds in the United States," said League Commissioner Joe Ferrara, Jr. "I have been familiar with Mr. Soliz and his teams for nearly 10 years and his mission for the Image is perfectly aligned with that of United Women's Soccer."

"We look forward to joining UWS as they expand into Texas for the summer of 2018 on its inaugural season," said Soliz. "We are excited to provide the opportunities for our female players to play in a professionally structured league. It is our goal to grow the sport of women's soccer in the Dallas-Fort Worth area."

The Image will play its matches at Old Panther Stadium in Duncanville. The facility has a capacity of 3,000. The northern Texas area has an abundance of highly talented group of female athletes that want a chance to play on a big stage and UWS and the Image will provide that platform.

The main objective is to provide quality soccer for female players in and after college with high energy training and the continued experience of playing world class soccer matches throughout the summer. The credo of the NTX Image soccer team is "we are a family!"
