Labbé posts a pair of clean sheets, Massey delivers a clutch performance

Metuchen, NJ – Separation within the conference standings started to come into focus during Week IV of the 2018 UWS season as potential postseason contenders in the East, Midwest and West began to separate themselves from the rest of the pack. Week IV also saw the debut of the Southwest conference, as the five-team setup in the Lone Star State kicked off their season with three matches on the weekend.

The Calgary Foothills Women’s Football Club made a big splash in the signing of Canadian International Stephanie Labbé prior to the start of Week IV and Labbé made the most of her UWS debut, posting a pair of clean sheets to pick up the UWS Defensive Player of the Week. In Santa Clarita’s close contest with Colorado, forward Kassandra Massey was instrumental in the teams’ 3-2 victory, as she scored a goal and added an assist, en route to earning the UWS Offensive Player of the Week nod.
