United Women's Soccer soars into 2019 at premier event in the game

METUCHEN, NJ - This January 9-13 at the McCormick Place West Building in Chicago, IL, the 2019 United Soccer Coaches (USC) Convention will take place. This will be the fourth consecutive convention for United Women's Soccer (UWS), heralding another successful calendar year while looking forward to continued growth. The USC Convention and US Youth Soccer Workshop draws more than 6,300 coaches and more than 11,000 attendees.

When the Exhibit Hall opens up on Thursday, January 10, fans, friends and prospective players & teams can find United Women's Soccer at Booth 615. The 2019 National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) College Draft will take place on Thursday, January 10 at 12:00 PM ET. Thirteen United Women's Soccer (UWS) alumni were on the initial list of draft-eligible players, highlighted by 2018 All-UWS Second Team selection Sabrina Flores (LA Galaxy OC Women) and 2018 West Conference Offensive Player of the Year Hailey North (Real Salt Lake Women). Billed as "The World's Largest Annual Gathering of Soccer Coaches and Administrators," there will be more than 250 educational opportunities consisting of live field demonstrations, classroom sessions, meal and social functions, award presentations, coaching diplomas and more. Founded in 1941 and based in Kansas City, United Soccer Coaches is the world's largest soccer coaches association. United Soccer Coaches elevates the game through advocacy, education and service.
