Syracuse Development Academy joins the East Conference in United Women's Soccer

United Women's Soccer is excited to announce the addition of Syracuse DA to the East Conference for the 2019 season. The team will round out the East joining the Connecticut Fusion, Lancaster Inferno, Long Island Roughriders, New England Mutiny, New Jersey Copa, Rochester Lancers and Worcester Smiles.

The SDA mission is to provide the highest quality soccer program for youth players in New York. The club aims to create an environment that cultivates success in all aspects of the world’s greatest game, and continue to achieve that throughout New York.

"We are pleased to have Syracuse DA make the commitment for 2019. They have proven to operate a high level franchise in the past and SDA will be a great addition to the league", stated League Commissioner Joe Ferrara.

The SDA vision is to continually grow and evolve within the world of soccer by striving to be on the cutting edge of the game. A sports franchise in United Women's Soccer will provide the player the opportunity to compete at the highest level.

"We are very excited to be a part of the United Women's Soccer for the 2019 season. UWS will be a place for our alums to play and continue the development of our current players.  SDA looks to uphold the standards of the league to the highest level" states Director Michael Paolini.

The team will play its home games out of Solvay High School in Solvay, NY.
