Los Angeles, CA—United Women’s Soccer (UWS) is excited to welcome Tudela FC to the Western Conference for the upcoming 2025 Summer of Soccer season. Based in Los Angeles, California, Tudela FC has built a strong reputation for player development and fosters a club culture centered around family, togetherness, and long-term growth.

Founded with a commitment to developing players from a young age and supporting their journey to the collegiate and professional levels, Tudela FC has been a cornerstone of the Southern California soccer community. The club’s expansion into UWS marks a significant step in its mission to provide a high-level competitive platform for its athletes, allowing them to continue their careers at the pre-professional level.

"From the beginning, our vision for the club was to create a culture of family and togetherness. We wanted to create a place that players could call home," said Jacob Tudela, Founder and Head Coach of Tudela FC.

"We have many players who started with the club when they were 7 years old and stayed with the club until they were 17. Those players are now playing and representing their respective colleges. We are thankful that UWS has given us the platform that allows us to welcome our players back to where it all started for them...Home!," added Tudela.

UWS Commissioner Joe Ferrara also expressed his enthusiasm for Tudela FC joining the league, stating, “We are thrilled to welcome Tudela FC to UWS. Lancaster, PA – United Women’s Soccer (UWS) is proud to announce the newest addition to its Eastern Conference, welcoming Lancaster FC to the league for the 2025 Summer of Soccer. The inclusion of Lancaster FC marks another step forward in UWS’s mission to provide top-tier playing opportunities for female athletes across the country.

Founded in 2022, Lancaster FC has quickly established itself as a club built on a foundation of professionalism, player development, and community engagement. With a clear pathway from recreational soccer through academy and professional play, the club has become a beacon of opportunity for aspiring athletes in Pennsylvania.

The recent acquisition by Copa Holdings LLC, a global soccer enterprise operating across North America, South America, and Europe, further elevates Lancaster FC’s commitment to providing elite coaching, international scouting opportunities, and access to top-tier competitions worldwide.

Future FC Women serves as an elite platform for former youth players who have advanced to the collegiate level and beyond. The program provides a crucial environment for returning collegiate athletes to train, stay fit, and sharpen their skills during the off-season while proudly representing their hometown team. Additionally, Future FC Women offers high-performing youth products an opportunity to be further challenged in a competitive setting, preparing them for future collegiate and professional careers.
